Although primarily a private retreat for the owners, Dalnaglar is open for exclusive rental by a few groups of paying guests per year. It is also an ideal venue for small weddings.
Dalnaglar Castle is set on a beautiful naturally elevated position in the heart of Glenshee, which is known locally as 'The Fairy Glen'. Originally an 18th century hunting lodge, Dalnaglar was commissioned by Lord Clyde, Queen Victoria's banker, and designed by Her Majesty's architect from Balmoral.
Each party of guests has exclusive use of Dalnaglar Castle and grounds.
Our wedding package includes one night at Dalnaglar, a champagne reception, a five course wedding breakfast with wine and soft drinks and a Scottish breakfast the following morning.
Prices
Our price for the wedding package is £300 per person.
Additional nights can be arranged at £250 per person per night.

Accommodation
Dalnaglar Castle has recently been extensively refurbished to provide the comfort of 21st century technology whilst retaining the character of a stately home.
Dalnaglar has 10 well-appointed en-suite double/twin bedrooms, as well as modernised accommodation within the Castle grounds for a further 18 visitors.
The property also includes an extremely comfortable and elegant drawing room, library, dining room and reception.
