The Castle
Dalnaglar Castle is set on a beautiful naturally elevated site in the exness mt4 heart of Glenshee, which is known locally as 'The Fairy Glen'. Originally a 16th century hunting lodge, Dalnaglar Castle was commissioned by Lord Clyde, Queen Victoria's banker, and designed by Her Majesty's architect from Balmoral.

Although primarily a private retreat for the owner, Dalnaglar is open for exclusive rental by a few groups of paying guests per year. It is an ideal venue for intimate weddings.

Each party of guests has exclusive use of the castle and grounds.

Accommodation
Dalnaglar Castle has recently been extensively refurbished to provide the metatrader 4 comfort of 21st century technology whilst retaining the character of a stately home.

Dalnaglar has 10 well-appointed double/twin bedrooms (8 of which are en-suite), as well as modernised accommodation within the Castle grounds.

The property also includes an extremely comfortable and elegant drawing room, library, dining room and reception.

Weddings
Our wedding package includes one night at Dalnaglar, a reception, a five course wedding breakfast and a Scottish breakfast the following morning.
